EES Launch on October 6, 2024

The European Entry/Exit System (EES) will be implemented starting October 6, 2024. This new system will enhance border security by electronically recording the entry and exit data of non-EU nationals traveling to and from the Schengen Area. EES aims to streamline border checks, prevent irregular migration, and identify overstayers more effectively, ensuring a safer and more efficient travel experience across European borders.
