First Clinical RNA editing in Humans UPSC

A biotechnology corporation, Wave Life Sciences successfully executed the first clinical RNA editing in humans on two patients with alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. Cells synthesize messenger RNA (mRNA) using commands in DNA and then ‘study’ instructions from the mRNA to make functional proteins.
