SSB Interview- Shield Defence Academy
The Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview is a critical part of the selection process for candidates aspiring to join the Indian Armed Forces as officers. It is conducted over a span of 5 days and tests a candidate's mental, emotional, and physical fitness to determine whether they possess the qualities required to become a leader in the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force. Unlike written exams that test academic knowledge, the SSB interview focuses on evaluating a candidate's personality, leadership skills, decision-making ability, and psychological fitness. The interview is designed to assess candidates on their Officer-like Qualities (OLQs), which are essential traits expected of future leaders in the armed forces.
